Complete set for the study of refraction & reflection. “Discoptic” enables the display & the study of the light behaviour when meeting one dioptre.
It constitutes one full experimental tool for the determination of Descartes’ laws.

The complete “Discoptic” assembly includes:
•One light source with glass cylindrical lens, 12 V – 21 W rangy filament bulb, powered through safety sockets (power supply not provided, cf. Ref. PMM 010 330.
Beam parallelism drawing adjustment. Provided with accessories for the generation of 1 or 3 beams.
• One rotating flat disk for components, graduated in degrees (0 to 360°), enabling incidence angle measurement, beam reflection & refraction.
• One Plexiglas half-cylinder, 20 mm thick, Ø 200 mm.
• One half-cylinder tank, graduated on the edge, from -90 to + 90°, for measurements into liquids.
